Coastal Dock Builders is a locally owned and operated marine construction company serving coastal North Carolina. With more than 25 years of combined construction experience, our team brings the knowledge, craftsmanship, and attention to detail needed to deliver quality work in a demanding coastal environment.
We believe every project starts with understanding the customer. From the initial planning through completion, we work closely with our clients to create practical, lasting solutions that fit their property and their needs.

The People Behind the Build
Coastal Dock Builders is led by Frank Gavigan, Sam Pope, and Matt Gavigan, bringing more than 25 years of combined construction experience to every project.
Frank brings extensive experience in both commercial and residential construction, including seven years in commercial construction and three years as a luxury custom home builder. Today, he works directly with clients to provide quality marine construction and a high level of personal service.
Together, the team combines construction experience with specialized knowledge of marine projects. Their hands-on approach, attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job right have helped Coastal Dock Builders build a growing portfolio of satisfied customers throughout coastal North Carolina.
